Ten Comedies

Scores of Scores

Natural Causes (forthcoming)

Book Description:

From screwball comedies to satirical sci-fi farces, this book is bursting with humour, wit, warmth, and, oddly enough, a small but noticeable portion of asparagus.  Beginning with a tale of an atheist’s escape from heaven and concluding with the account of an orchestra’s battle with a maniacal composer, the ten stories contained in this volume will tickle your funny bone, scratch you gently behind the left ear, and, if talked to correctly, provide a soothing massage.  One thing is for certain; this book will provide you with hours of sidesplitting hilarity and enjoyment.

Book Description:

This hilarious, poignant and witty book is a startlingly original and hysterical work from one of North America’s tallest authors.  In this uproarious collection of tales, Dave Macfarlane revisits some of his most beloved characters and breaks new literary ground – as well as one window – in his most eclectic and entertaining work to date.

Ten Comedies is currently available across North America.  You can also purchase a signed copy directly from Dave.  Please see purchasing information below.

Scores of Scores is now available!  Early reviews agree that it is superior to anything Dave has ever written, including a fourth grade treatise on the use of apples as prison guards.

Website exclusive!  Below is a photograph that Dave rejected for the "About the Author" section of Scores of Scores after he took the admittedly debatable position that the blurb ought to include a picture of the actual author.

Dave isn't sure who exactly the fellow in this photograph is.  Dave admits that this curious, gargoyle-like creature appears quite comfortable in clothing that looks suspiciously like the author's, but astutely points out that the photograph is unquestionably a fake, as everyone knows that iguanas don't play the piano.  They play the saxophone.

For further proof, here is a present-day photograph of the author sitting in his studio, in front of his latest written work.  He not only composed it on the spot, but also wrote it upside-down!

You be the judge!
